I am Norman child custody lawyer /divorce lawyer Pete D. Louden. My office is located in the Primrose Building one block north of the Cleveland County Courthouse. My practice is focused exclusively on providing representation for Oklahoma fathers.
My passion is men's rights/father's rights. Rather than choose the easy route of a general practice, I wanted to focus my efforts where I thought that I could do the most good and use my skills to help those that needed help the most. I was one of the first attorneys in this area to focus on representing fathers.
I grew up in a small town in Indiana. After high school, I enlisted in the United States Army Infantry. I served ten years including service in Desert Storm in the legendary 101st Airborne Division and a tour as a Drill Sergeant at the Infantry Training Brigade at Ft. Benning, GA.
Between deployments, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice at Troy State University. Upon graduation, I decided to pursue my passion for the law. I enrolled in Oklahoma City University School of Law in 1995, and graduated with a Juris Doctor in 1998. I was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar Association that same year and have been a member in good standing ever since.
I have been married over 22 years to my wife Liz. She is a kindergarten teacher and a graduate of Syracuse University. We have four children and one grandchild. We are very proud of all of them.
I have been to war both in the desert and in the courtroom. I fight for fathers.
